Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you are all having a fabulous day! I was so lucky to visit the Scrapbook Expo 2012 in St. Charles, Illinois, on Friday and on Saturday. My favorite booths: the "Melissa Frances" booth, and the one where I found the My Mind's Eye paper pads and the "Stampin' Up!" corner. Don't you love these vintage style wired hangers? This is what I bought:

Thank you Yvonne and Maria for joining me to the Scrapbook Expo! What a great place to hang out, lol!

Take care and have a great day!

Stampin' Up! Extravaganza 2012

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! Isn't this an awesome card? (which is made using the Stampin' Up! "Mouthwatering" set, and can you believe this: we added a little sent over the stamped image with the Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder, it smells like a real melon!). Just perfect for someone who has her birthday in the summer. Wouldn't you just love it to open an envelope, and smell that melon scent and getting a beautiful card like this?

I was invited for the Extravaganza 2012 (Stampin' Up) on Friday at Lara's house. Judith gave a fantastic workshop. Thank you both so much, and all the other Stampin' Up! fans! I've had such a great time!  We've made two cards and one photo album. Isn't that album a great gift idea for the Holidays?

Happy Belated Birthday Annet!

Hi everyone! I am so happy today! Yesterday, Mr. UPS dropped off my Stampin' Up! order including this stamp set: Established Elegance (Stampin' Up!) , and I absolutely LOVE it!!! Hope you like my new creation, a vintage style birthday card for my friend Annet in the Netherlands! ... and I hope Annet likes it too! What I (and my family) will never ever forget about her is that about two years ago she surprised us by sending a package with all the ingredients to make our very own "pepernoten" on the 5th of December (a Dutch tradition on St. Nicolas' birthday or Sinterklaas) to us in the USA, and another fact is that she is the best typist in the whole world! I really thought I could type fast, but she beats me all the time! That's the reason I chose the typewriter image for her card.

I hope you have a fanatastic day!

Hugs, Laura

Holiday Wishes ... a card and a gift bag (Stampin' Up!)

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great week! Guess what? I DID IT! This is my first card for the Holidays, it was so much fun to do that I also made a gift bag! Honestly, I can hardly believe it myself, lol! Making a card with snow on it in the middle of the summer, on such a sunny day with temperatures in the 80's F. (30 gr.Celsius) outside. Well, I must admit that I got the inspiration for this project last week at Hobby Lobby, where I was blown away by watching the decorated Christmas trees and all the beautiful decoration for the Holidays. And I was wondering is it that time of the year yet? First we have to get ready for Halloween and Thanksgiving, can't wait to pick a couple of pumpkins, and decorate the house.

The door bell rings ... Sorry, gotta go now, Mr. UPS stopped at my house ...
Thanks for stopping by! Take care and have a great day!

Hugs, Laura

Een beterschapskaartje voor "Peer" ...

Hallo allemaal!

Thanks for stopping by! Take care and enjoy this beautiful day!

Hi everyone! Wow, was I gone that long? I hope you are all having a great summer. I can't believe this is the last day of the Summer Olympics in London already. Tomorrow, our kids are going back to school. We just got back from a vacation in the Netherlands. It was so good to see all the friends and family again, enjoyed the beautiful weather. We have had such a wonderful time! We visited Amsterdam, and we enjoyed a fantastic boat tour through the Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht:
