Greetings from a bitter cold and white Chicago, right now: -11 degrees Celsius/12 degrees Fahrenheit and don't forget the wind chill! And for tonight they say: -19 degrees C/-2 degrees F! Brrrrrr ....  

 

Happy 75th Birthday to Queen Beatrix, Queen of the Netherlands! This week, she announced that soon her son Willem-Alexander and daughter-in-law Maxima will be King and Queen of the Netherlands.

AIR MAIL ... een kaartje voor mijn oma

 

Zomaar een  kaartje voor mijn oma. Ze houdt zo van vogels en van leuke post ontvangen. Zo leuk om te zien dat als je bij haar op bezoek komt de toegezonden kaartjes er nog steeds staan of hangen.

 

 

 

... en vanochtend ook nog een hele leuke Stampin' Up! workshop bijgewoond bij Ilona en dit is het resulaat:

 

 

Ik hoop dat mijn nieuwe stempelset snel binnenkomt ...

Verjaardagskaarten

 

Hallo allemaal! Het is hier weer wit buiten en brrrrr zo koud. Vanochtend eerst maar even deze twee verjaardagskaarten gemaakt. Wat is het toch altijd moeilijk om een verjaardagskaart voor een man te maken, maar deze stempelset van Hero Arts: "Passed Times" is de oplossing. Het tekststempeltje is van Stampin' Up!: "Perfect Punches" en voor het stempelen heb ik de kleuren Early Espresso en Soft Suede gebruikt.
