Last Friday, I was so lucky to visit the Christkindl Market in Chicago, and took these photos. Chicago looks just awesome in December, even without the snow!

Holy Night ...

 

Hallo allemaal! Zo, de kerstboom staat weer! Dan is dat maar weer gebeurd. Ik heb hoofdzakelijk witte en een paar goudkleurige kerstballen gebruikt deze keer en verder alles wat we nog hadden in de boom gehangen. Qua decoreren binnen en buiten voor de Kerst ben ik klaar. 

 

Afgelopen maandag heb ik nog een hele leuke Stampendous stempel "Holy Night" gekocht bij Archiver's (alle stempels waren 40% off) en heb er meteen maar een aantal kerstkaarten mee gemaakt. Het vormt een hele leuke combinatie met de Stampin' Up! stempel "Joy to the world" vind ik. Dit keer geen jingle bells, knoopjes of iets dergelijks (hoe graag ik het ook wil!) als versiering, want anders gaan ze moeilijk doen bij de post, dus vandaar deze "platte" kaarten, lol! Ik ga nu weer even verder met het schrijven van de kerstkaarten. Wat een leuke tijd is dit toch! Zo leuk al die post in de mailbox aan te treffen! Tot de volgende keer! Een hele fijne dag!

Hi there! Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you all had a great weekend and a good start of this new week. Getting closer and closer to the Holidays! Did you finish your christmas cards yet? Me neither, lol, although I started pretty early this year. Today, I have not one, but TWO cards I'd love to show you. I did choose this adorable Magnolia stamp again ... now I used my deep red Colorsoft Derwent pencil a lot for coloring the image. I hope you like it!

JOY to the world ...

 

Hallo allemaal! Happy Friday! Heel veel sneeuw in Nederland, maar hier bij ons nog niets. Daar kunnen ze de slee al tevoorschijn halen en genieten van de sneeuw. Zo komt iedereen wel meteen in kerststemming. Vandaag wil ik graag een rood-wit-blauw kerstkaartje laten zien. De benodigdheden (inkt, stempels en papier etc.) voor dit kaartje zijn van Stampin' Up! De inspiratie voor deze kaart komt door een foto van onze kerstboom, zoals die er vorig jaar uit zag. Dit weekend gaan we de kerstboom opzetten, maar welke kleuren kiezen we dit jaar?

Tilda with Rudolph ... Merry Christmas

 

Hallo allemaal! Hoe staat het er voor met jullie kerstkaarten? Ik heb er net weer eentje klaar. Voor dit kaartje heb ik Tilda met Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer gebruikt. What an adorable Magnolia stamp this is! It was so much fun coloring this lovely image! Voor het inkleuren heb ik de Derwent Colorsoft Pencils gebruikt. Het kerstpapier van is van de Action en de snowflake punch is van Martha Stewart.
